Smoove FAQs

Have some questions about smoove? You're in the right place! Below are answers to the most common questions about getting started and caring for your smoove razor.

✨Getting Started

  • Is a safety razor hard to use?
Not at all! There can be a small learning curve if you're switching from a cartridge razor, but most people get the hang of it after just a few shaves. The key is to use light pressure and let the weight of the razor do the work.

  • Will I cut myself?
Small nicks can happen while you're getting used to your razor, just like with any razor. Use gentle pressure, shave slowly, and you'll quickly build confidence.

  • How long does it take to get used to it?
Most people feel comfortable after 2–5 shaves. Take your time and focus on your technique rather than speed.

  • Can I shave my legs, underarms and bikini area?
Yes! Smoove razors are suitable for all body areas. Just use extra care around curves and sensitive areas.

✨ Razor Care

  • How often should I change the blade?
Most people replace their blade every 5–10 shaves, depending on hair thickness and how often they shave.

  • How do I know it's time for a new blade?
If the razor starts tugging, feels less smooth, or causes more irritation than usual, it's time for a fresh blade.

  • How do I clean my razor?
Simply rinse it thoroughly after each use and allow it to dry. For a deeper clean, occasionally remove the blade and rinse all parts with warm water.

  • Can my razor rust?
Your Smoove razor is made from stainless steel, which is highly resistant to rust. Keeping it clean and dry between uses will help it stay looking its best.

✨ General

  • Why switch to a safety razor?
A safety razor produces less plastic waste, costs less over time, and gives you a close, comfortable shave with only one replaceable blade.

  • Can beginners use a smoove razor?
Absolutely. Smoove was designed with beginners in mind. Follow our shaving guide, take your time, and you'll soon wonder why you didn't switch sooner.

  • How do I change the blade?
Unscrew the handle, carefully remove the old blade by the short edges, insert a new blade, then screw the handle back together securely.
